How to make your Herbal Syrup for Immune Support

Ready to support your immune system?  Here's your recipe for natural support during cold + flu season.

2 cups boiling water

Your Immune Support Herbal Blend - 3 Tablespoons total 

      *Some herbs you can use are Elderberries, Rose hips, Slippery Elm bark,           Cinnamon, Ginger Root, Licorice Root, Wild Cherry Bark, Thyme

1/4 cup local honey

1/4 cup whiskey or brandy (optional)

Simmer your herbs in 2 cups of water for 20 minutes, this will create a nice strong tea.  Strain the tea into a glass jar + add your honey + whiskey (if using).  Refridgerate after making.  Adults can take 1 Tablespoon 2-3 times a day, kids 2 + older 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day, under 2 take 1/2 teaspoon 2-3 times a day.  This is a great syrup to take as soon as you start to experience symptoms of dis-ease.  Contact Jenna at jenna@chickandmum.com with any questions about making your herbal syrup.  Cheers!
